CTMU glossary (sort of) - C C - Oct 9, 2015

Well, after all, CTMU is what triggered the creation of "Alternative Theories" here. Wink And accordingly the subforum should probably be territorially marked with it from time to time, though not necessarily in the canine fashion.

CTMU's obscure nomenclature is unremarkably dismissed as meaningless babble at SciForums. Needless to point-out, even the "in-house" terminology of many established disciplines (including physics, biology, etc) could also evoke similar responses from outsiders. Yet the esoteric appearance of those mainstream practices is excused by the majority of us prim and proletariat barbarians. Due to their words / symbols / descriptions seeming to mobilize or summon "heap big magic" in the form of cures and technological and engineering results.

CTMU might be internally consistent enough to warrant acceptance as yet another systematic metaphysical conception (of double-aspect monism). But therein lies the rub: It appears to be a philosophical scheme --> science wannabe. Some of the 18th-century spins on Plato's sensible / supersensible genre set themselves up as a prior in rank hierarchical level that simply assimilated nature and its methodological investigation, thereby avoiding doing damage to the scientific process or interfering with it. But the reverse is usually not possible (of a speculative philosophical offering literally achieving scientific status, rather than just subsume the object of the latter's study as a hyponym). The regulatory preconceptions which science operates under more or less lack tolerance for such applicants.

"Don't LOOK at anything in a physics lab, Don't TASTE anything in a chemistry lab, Don't SMELL anything in a biology lab, Don't TOUCH anything in a medical lab, and, most importantly, Don't LISTEN to anything in a philosophy department!" --Timothy Vaughn

Thank you CC I love it! Let's hope this thread stimulates further discussion of CTMU reality and therefore reality.

RE: CTMU glossary (sort of) - Ostronomos - Oct 19, 2017

"I" existeth not in nor out but throughout
I am the love that is one in things throughout
I am good and evil none
Look inside me and you will not find me
Look within me and you will not find
Nor will I be foundeth in you.
I am He who knows only truth
I am the wiseness inbound in all things
I am the love who knowest not in concepts nor words
but in one thing, which become self-stratified to all things.
As words are only concept they have grammar
Reality is isomorphic to a description but what description it takes is
determined by one reality, however syntax creates meaning of that information
discovered to be the fabric of reality, where cognition processes information to
become infocogntion

Reality is like America, a freedom to configure itself without constraint.
Anything else by any other name would still be the same, and the freedom and constraint we experience in spirit and in material is found to be a 2-stage process. This 2-stage process is merged into one and that one then configures itself through unbound telesis (a state-recognition syntax).

Freedom?

Like I said, creepy.

The funny things is that I'd actually agree with some of this (OP)...if he didn't feel the seemingly incessant need to make up words when descriptive labels would suffice.

At least you can see the resemblance.
