Earth is Doomed! - Yazata - Mar 8, 2023 NASA has discovered an asteroid called 2023DW that they say has a small chance of impacting the Earth in 2046. It's about 49 meters across (161 feet). Before you start smoking again, it currently only has a Torino Scale value of 1 (nothing to worry about) but they are still calculating its orbit more exactly and that could change. Still, it has about a 1/500 chance of impacting the Earth with a Tunguska sized hit. Of course, by 2046 the Space Force should have enough of Elon's Starships to send a battle fleet to take care of it. https://twitter.com/AsteroidWatch/status/1633234541526523904 https://eyes.nasa.gov/apps/asteroids/#/asteroids/2023_dw https://cneos.jpl.nasa.gov/sentry/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torino_scale RE: Earth is Doomed! - RainbowUnicorn - Mar 8, 2023 may i vote for it to hit moscow ? RE: Earth is Doomed! - Magical Realist - Mar 9, 2023 I'll be 86. I'll be lucky if I'm still here. It's certainly a dramatic way of goin out. Not hanging around for the asteroid winter though even if I have to off myself.. |
