Quite amazing that ancient Roman engineers developed a building product far more durable than its modern incarnation. Only now do we know why.

So nearly 2,000 years to notice a type of concrete that self-repairs .. cue clip from when Harry met Sally. And only 10 years to work out that some types of concrete are such utter crap that you have to demolish the structures built of it.
