Huge Riot at i-Phone Plant in China - Yazata - Nov 24, 2022

The I-phone plant apparently recruits from poor Chinese villages and treats its employees like slaves, forcing them to live in spartan company dormitories. (They don't have the internal passports allowing them to legally live, rent or work in the wealthy cities and can only legally remain there if the company sponsers them.) Well, there were some Covid cases in the city of Zhengzhou, parts of the city were placed on lockdown and the employees were forbidden to leave their dorms. They say that have received no food since.

So they came out en masse to protest.

Police in white biohazard suits sent to contain them.

"Police beat workers protesting over a pay dispute at the biggest factory for Apple’s iPhone, whose new model is delayed by controls imposed as China tries to contain a surge in COVID-19 cases. [...] The protests in Zhengzhou come as the ruling Communist Party faces rising frustration about restrictions in areas across China that have closed shops and offices and confined millions of people to their homes."

Leave it to China to still be living in the year 2020 for the rest of the decade. Over 90% of its population has been vaccinated, and yet it's hell-bent on eternally screwing up global logistics with its boogeyman fetish for COVID.

At least there's an entire ocean watering down its version of leftist tick-chatter by the time it reaches California's species of bloodsucking arachnids. Plus, you can't monotonously hook the West Coast collectivist mindset on the same gratification principle for even three years, much less ten or twenty. Too faddish.
