Males born with a cockpit and part of a fuselage. Nose cone, wings, remaining fuselage, feet and tail develop later. To the right of mom is an adult male, much smaller, sniffing around and not wanting to waste anytime or face competition to seed the next generation. An event known as taxiing. After mating, the female flies off the nest, returning only to give birth and mate. Males outnumber females by a considerable margin.
