INTRO: Photos of an alleged UFO—an unidentified flying object—sparked headlines on Tuesday after they were picked up by a Mexican news outlet, with some claiming the object had extraterrestrial origins. However, multiple people came forward to claim credit for the images—one of whom openly admits they are fake—raising doubts about its authenticity. With "great reveal" narratives permeating online ufologist communities amid recent disclosures from the U.S. military and the Pentagon, the photo has fueled excitement, controversy and skepticism among UFO enthusiasts... UFO sighting or drones? Strange lights captured in Texas sky

EXCERPT: The “UFOs” may actually have been UAVs, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. “I would have to say there’s nothing extraterrestrial involved with this. But I am not to say that that couldn’t be a possibility,” said drone expert Gene Robinson.

Robinson, who lives in Wimberley, trains drone pilots and flies several types of UAV platforms. He reviewed the video sent to FOX 7. “My initial take on this is that it is very likely a drone based phenomena,” said Robinson.

At one point, the lights in one video clip zoomed off. Some people assume that what was in the air was projected by a laser. But Robinson noted it doesn’t seem like there was anything for a laser to reflect off of. “That’s pretty unlikely. So, I’m still thinking that this may be someone testing their do-it-yourself drone swarm,” said Robinson... (MORE - missing details)

Regarding the second vid and drone expert opinion - he had it wrong. Just check out the major comments (suggest toggle to 'most recent'). Consensus there correctly pointed out drones could not possibly accelerate as per video. Unless there was creative time lapse editing involved.
Laser light show also doesn't really match with the extant patchy cloud cover.

But that now in general easy to do trickery, and the amazing examples of what drone swarms can now perform, just reinforces the value of vintage UFO reports.
From an era when drones and lasers and fancy editing software were not around to muddy the waters.

If don’t recognize drones in Brushy Creek Texas then you haven’t been out of the basement lately. Little north of Austin, a city awash in drone pilot schools and dazzling light shows like this…

Wow. Cannot imagine the amount of processing power and programming that went into allowing that superbly coordinated display.
Poor old skywriters days are about over. Now it's skytyping:

I guess the ay-lee-uns will have to lift their game if planning on seizing back a competitive attention grabbing antics edge.
Still, drones currently lack e.g. abduction/cattle mutilation capabilities. But give it time...
Competition is (hopefully) always good for the 'end user'.

Skytypers should dot matrix the WOW signal worldwide, see if it gets a response. I was thinking, just in case the UFOs are Earthly time travellers then skytypers might be of good use. We could say we’re on to them or something attention grabbing.

Yeah...ufos are going to have to up their game for being the #1 sky phenomenon. Drones are increasingly garnering the public attention and calling into question the old otherworldly standby.

Watching those drones at that light show and maybe we should be thinking just how good a weapon it can be. Like the first tanks in WWI, these little puppies are going to revolutionize weaponry, change warfare. Perhaps the tank is in its own mass extinction event. Can they deliver a nuclear warhead now? Someday? At least in a way that’s more environmentally friendly Rolleyes
