According to cnbc segment
Tesla model Y is #1 selling auto model in California, and model 3 is #2 selling automobile model in the state.
Overall, Tesla is the second best selling auto make in California, behind only Toyota.
This isn't just EVs, it's all cars.
The amazing thing is that Tesla has no advertising! It's all word of mouth.
Tesla's Fremont California plant is the largest automobile plant anywhere in the entire United States. It churned out 600,000 cars last year and hopes to hit 650,000 this year.
Texas is preparing to give Fremont some domestic competition though, when the new Texas Gigafactory comes fully on line.
And in terms of stock price, TSLA has been the best performing auto stock in the last year.
