Propulsively Landing an Amateur Rocket - Yazata - Aug 2, 2022

Ok, we all know that Starship is really Really BIG, well here's a guy on the other end of the scale who has succeeded in landing a little amateur rocketry model rocket. It isn't as easy as some might think.

It requires a throttleable engine. He actually used a throttlable solid fuel engine, something I never heard of before and thought was impossible.

It requires thrust vector control and a custom flight computer (and software).
