Are they actually manufacturing those? Or is this a one-off concept-car?

I like the sci-fi sensibility. Do those weird pop-up things have any practical purpose?

I was wondering about those pop-ups too. I can't imagine them serving any other function other than aesthetic pleasure. They would only add friction to the surface of the car. Just another gadget for the driver to fool around with?
