Wasn't impressed with the results, but -- again -- I only tried it in a slipshod manner, without much thought or concern about the results beforehand. Yea, it strikes me that a lot of practice goes into getting the candles just right. Like anything, really...I have been intrigued with candle making lately, but it looks like you need a large workspace, which I guess my garage would be fine. Of course, the youtube vloggers make it look so easy although it's encouraging that some of them are novices at it, and the finished products weren't too shabby. There's something rewarding about creating art, music, even everyday useable things with our own hands that is worth pursuing, I think... |
