The video's subject is somewhat pertinent to the issue of those occasional scientists/philosophers who ask "Why?" experiential consciousness emerged in the course of evolution.

In stark contrast to "How?" such could even emerge at all if zero undeveloped precursors are posited or available.

As if they regard evolution like a magical thaumaturge floating on its own independent of not only the constraints of biology, but the limited basic properties of matter in general.
