IOW, had that voter fraud through mail-in ballots succeeded, the South wouldn't have been stopped and slavery would have gone on for longer.
And racist Democrats are still using the same ploy today, to keep black voters on their electoral plantation. Like H.R.1, that would have the federal government force every state to allow same-day registration, automatic registration, prohibit requiring ID to get a ballot, prohibit notarization/witness signature for mail-in ballots, and accept votes received 10 days after an election. They're literally trying to force cheating on every state. It's downright treasonous.
