Mail-in ballots were part of a plot to deny Lincoln reelection in 1864

The judge advocate addressed the tribunal, saying that Donahue had engaged in one of the most gigantic frauds ever attempted in America — “a fraud which, if it shall be successful, will, in my opinion, have produced a disruption of our entire country, and our war for the preservation of the Union will be practically at an end and futile.”

IOW, had that voter fraud through mail-in ballots succeeded, the South wouldn't have been stopped and slavery would have gone on for longer.

And racist Democrats are still using the same ploy today, to keep black voters on their electoral plantation. Like H.R.1, that would have the federal government force every state to allow same-day registration, automatic registration, prohibit requiring ID to get a ballot, prohibit notarization/witness signature for mail-in ballots, and accept votes received 10 days after an election. Oh, and make DC a state, with two more permanent Democrat Senators. https://www.congress.gov/bill/117th-cong...ill/1/text

They're literally trying to force cheating on every state. It's downright treasonous.
