You were never supposed to see those UFOs, military official says
https://www.livescience.com/navy-ufo-vid...ified.html

EXCERPT: In December 2017 and March 2018, The New York Times released three allegedly declassified videos showing U.S. Navy pilots trailing some unidentified flying objects. The mystery crafts moved at hypersonic speeds, flying tens of thousands of feet above the Earth with no distinct wings, engines or visible signs of propulsion whatsoever. Were they flying saucers? Incredibly high-tech drones? The pilots had no idea — and, according to a recent statement from Navy intelligence officials, neither does the U.S. government.

In a statement [...] Joseph Gradisher, a spokesperson for the Deputy Chief of Naval Operations for Information Warfare, announced that the Navy officially considers the craft in these three videos "unidentified aerial phenomena."  ... The UFO footage was also never cleared for public release, Gradisher [...said...] meaning these are three unidentified phenomena you were never supposed to know about. ... the videos may have been improperly released by a former Pentagon employee ... The man received permission to share the videos for "[US Government] Use Only" ... However, Navy officials never declassified the footage for public release... (MORE - details)

China gripped after sighting of its own 'Loch Ness Monster'
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-china-49719826

EXCERPT: Something is lurking in the deep in China's famous Yangtze River - and social media discussion is rife over what it might be. On Friday, footage appeared on China's popular Sina Weibo microblog of what appeared to be a long, black creature, manoeuvring through the waters, and it has dominated online discussion ever since. Footage has quickly racked up millions of views, and theories are rife. Specialists have weighed in - but some think there may be a simple, and less murky, explanation.

[...] In an interview with Pear Video, Professor Wang Chunfang from the Huazhong Agricultural University dismissed the idea of it being a new species, saying it was likely a simple "water snake". Some users said that "external factors such as pollution" could have a role to play in a sea snake growing to an extraordinary size. But not everyone was convinced.

Separate footage has led some users to question whether the unidentified object is actually a living creature at all. A picture has since gone viral showing a long piece of black cloth washed up on some rocks, fuelling discussion this might have been the mysterious object. Both have led to jokes about whether the local government was trying to attract tourism to the area... (MORE - details)

Your reign of suppression and deception is over now. The public WILL know about this and more, rest assured.
And? UAP is not an admission of aliens.
Why were we not supposed to see videos? What’s the big deal? Excited pilots? For guys tracking, they sure seemed surprised by the speeding dot that flashed across their screen. A lot of time in vid explaining the on screen technology, why would they do that? Means nothing for many of us. Just show us the video.

That kind of headline is what keeps ufology alive I suppose. Otherwise we might lose interest. UAP ... is that a term replacing UFO even though a pilot in video said object was flying.

We have some sophisticated technology to track many things but not this device.....the message I’m getting. Probably top secret at one time. May be obsolete if Navy ‘accidentally’ on purpose released it.

Again, if there are craft flying around controlled by LGM then why are we not focussing everything we’ve got on the skies of Earth to detect an alien signal of some sort?

Only thing I thought of in that vid was how can a flying object reduce or eliminate drag? Is it even possible to attain zero drag in atmosphere?

Apparently the Navy doesn't consider metabunk's explanations of the detected events to be completely convincing, or they wouldn't persist with the "unknown" label. (I.e., if the Navy hasn't explored and pondered such themselves then that's pretty scary itself in a competence context.)

It's first and foremost a matter of national security when aerial phenomena either penetrate or abide in a nation's boundaries and the latter's military can't even decide whether they're artificial in origin or not. Great results for a foreign power if it can poke around in a rival country and the latter procrastinates on any determination of what's going on and active/constructive response to it due to fear of extraterrestrial taint slash ridicule. It would kind of be like pulling off a robbery and getting away with it because a combination of gimmicks you used had the witnesses speculating about or reporting ghosts committing the deed.
