Oops: AOC Tweets Support for OTC Birth Control, Gets Schooled on Where Her Party Stands on It

As she often does, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY-14) took to the Twitter machine on Friday to post her thoughts for the day. Included on her thought list was a show of support for over the counter birth control.

There’s just one problem: She’ll probably have more trouble convincing her own side to support OTC birth control than she will Republicans – because Democrats have opposed previous Republican efforts to make this a reality...

Democratic senators are launching a push to protect ObamaCare’s contraception mandate, which they say would be in jeopardy if the upper chamber’s Republicans win approval for their own birth control bill.

Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.) on Tuesday unveiled a bill to keep in place the rule that insurance companies must cover contraception, even if certain methods, like birth control pills, become available without a prescription.

The bill is a direct rebuke to Senate Republicans who are trying to champion the issue of over-the-counter birth control. That GOP bill has drawn fire from reproductive health groups like Planned Parenthood Action Fund, however, that warn the legislation would force women to again pay out of pocket for their birth control.

So, where are all the abortion advocates clamoring to contact their Democrat Congressmen/women to demand OTC birth control?

And Democrats were outright lying about contraception coverage being in jeopardy under Obamacare, as the ACA already mandated insurance coverage for several OTC medications. So this was just a lobbying effort by Planned Parenthood.

Some leftists are now calling for unity, even though they had four years to stop being the divisive ones. Leftists only like America or want unity when they have the power.

So Democrats currently trying to unconstitutionally impeach a former president, over rhetoric, but hypocritically said the complete opposite after the congressional baseball game shooting.

Some Dem will get their knuckles rapped for the date gaffe. Impeaching an ex prez using visual is like proving ufo’s or big hairy mountain hominids exist. Images being some of the most unreliable proof these days. I think doubt has been established, throw the whole thing out, the hearing has zero credibility and is a waste of time & taxpayer money.

Then there’s the criminal aspect. No one is arrested if someone thinks Bigfoot exists because of doctored video but falsifying evidence at this tribunal should be worthy of a criminal charge or at least grounds for a lawsuit.

Not only does the Trump impeachment team show a montage of Democrats objecting to the 2016 electoral votes (way more objections than Republicans had of the 2020 election), unlike the 2020 objections, they didn't have the required signature of a Senator, and the lead House manager in this impeachment, Jamie Raskin, was one of them.
