Dishonest hypocrisy abounds.
CNN attacked United States troops in Iraq who were away from their families on Christmas for potentially violating Department of Defense guidelines when they had President Donald Trump sign "Make America Great Again" hats and "Trump 2020" patches. Oddly, CNN never criticized troops when former President Barack Obama and his wife, First Lady Michelle Obama, signed memorabilia back when Mr. Obama was campaigning to become president in 2008.
As noted by Joe Concha at The Hill, "The worst kind of bias is the bias of omission. And what's missing from this report is precedent as it pertains to President Obama who, as a candidate, signed memorabilia for U.S. service members overseas in July 2008. Not a hint of criticism followed."
SFGate reported on the Obama trip to Afghanistan at the time, though they never highlighted the signing of memorabilia by Mr. Obama.

Exactly five years earlier, during the Obama administration, border agents repelled a gang of rock and bottle throwing illegal immigrants using pepper spray. This was just one of 151 uses of pepper spray at the border that year alone, in addition to 27 uses of tear gas, and all without a peep about “war crimes” or the Holocaust.

President Barack Obama separated parents from their children at the border.
Obama prosecuted mothers for coming to the United States illegally. He fast tracked deportations. And yes, he housed unaccompanied children in tent cities.

The images, which the Associated Press first published in 2014, resurfaced recently for reasons that remain unclear, and quickly prompted viral outrage on Twitter. One particularly disturbing image showed two children sleeping on mattresses on the floor inside what appeared to be a cage.
A number of prominent liberals — and even a former Obama administration official — shared the photos, mistakenly believing they depicted the Trump administration's treatment of immigrant children who were forcibly separated from their parents.

Douchebag said: “They had plenty of people that came up, they said, ‘You know, we could make it smaller. We could make it 3 per cent, we could make it 2 per cent, we could make it 4 per cent’.”
Douchebag continued: “I said, ‘No. Make it 10 per cent. Make it more than 10 per cent’. Cause it’s been a long time, it’s been more than 10 years. Been more than 10 years, that’s a long time.”
Military pay has increased each year for more than three decades, with a 2.4 per cent increase in 2018. The 2019 National Defence Authorisation Act brought a 2.6 per cent increase.

Lie #1. He said it would be more than 10%.
Lie #2. He said it's the first raise they got in 10 years.
Double lie. While smiling and looking right in their eyes. Pure unadulterated scumbag.

So they didn't get any raise and it hasn't been almost a decade since the last big raise?
You know, compared to promising the troops they were coming home, out of harms way, only to renege.
Yeah, what a scumbag.
