Maybe absinthe. I always thought he had epilepsy but this author seems to think that he was bipolar. Who knows?

The illness of Vincent van Gogh

I have the "Woman Grinding Coffee" print. It’s signed Atelier Vincent. Why Atelier? All I could come up with was that it means art studio. Maybe that’s where he painted it. I don’t know.

This looks like it's going to be really good.
