Not even an honorable mention of crappie in a freshwater category.
Problem is, I very much doubt that's the even more mixed-up colloquial usage of "white perch" which refers to white crappie. In some regions "perch" drifts so far off the mark that it collectively refers to green sunfish, bluegill, redear sunfish, etc. (Perch jerking (East Texas) ... Perch jerking (Louisiana))
