EXCERPT: A man assaulted by Antifa supporters in a video that went viral following a demonstration against a far-right rally in Portland, Oregon, says he is not a fascist but a Bernie Sanders-supporting progressive and registered Democrat. On August 4, Portland-based far-right group Patriot Prayer rallied at the city’s Tom McCall Waterfront Park. But it was opposed by a larger number of counter-demonstrators from various left-wing and liberal groups in the city.

Footage shows Paul Welch, 38, wrestling with masked anti-fascists for possession of the American flag he brought to the counter-demo. They demanded he let go of the flag, calling it a “fascist symbol,” reported The Oregonian. "The right and certainly a lot of smaller groups like Patriot Prayer might rush to things like the flag and try to take it up as, 'This is our symbol exclusively,'" Welch, a protest regular, told The Oregonian. "Part of my thinking was to take it back."

And the left still tries to pretend it's patriotic.
But where are all the leftist voices condemning such a view of the American flag? O_o

#WalkAway seems to be the only voice against leftist violence...from former leftists.

unknown guy who joined in the middle of a group opposes group/democratic will and then calls himself a democrat..

feeding the conspiracy nut jobs like raw meat to starving dogs


if you are going to join a political group and then defy their democratic collective mandate, then your being a non group member imposing your facist will upon the democrats.

it is interesting to observe sindicated organisations attempting to re-write the nature of democracy for thier own facist minority extremist whims & fancys.


they only have a voice because they live in a culture that upholds liberalism and democracy yet they expect everyone they dissagree with to bend to their will.
it is illogical.
probably a psychosis of small town mentality that is unable to learn new things.
the insular process of reducing knowledge instead of embracing it seems to be the common theme.


hence the stigma openly directed at sociologists & psychologists and lawyers.
all profesionals who help manage evolution of culture and society.
yet vilified by stereo type by some groups to use as a scape goat for lack of ability to be the facist or lack of ability to evolve & keep up with societys ever changing intellectual development.

right wing conservatives whos teen age children are rebelling and choose to act out while attributing the blame to a politicial group...
then they denounce their old democratic socialist enviromentalism and expect to be suddenly handed a job by alt-rights into some org that sells plastic bags to nuclear waste merchants or such like.
its a tired old story.

its just a form of right wing conservative internship "big expereince".
"right of passage" i beleive it is called.
used as a leg-up for new starters to counter political opinion to corporate positions that have big environmental issues.
its a cheap trick.
it doesnt really create a more diverse profesional as it usualy aligns with a more back handed sort that will destabalise the company while continuing to abuse community democracy.

much less of a thing these days, but the ideology of the achetype still exists clearly in the minds of the baby boomers as it was a common trick back then.
