You are clearly blind. Who are you to speak with authority on the matter?
Your intrusion is aggravating.

And many consider spoken prayer to be more for the benefit of others (trying to appear pious or leading a prayer in a unified effort) rather than god or oneself.
"Repeat after me" sounds like either a Catholic thing or leading someone who doesn't know how to pray, like a new convert.
Praying out loud to ward off demons is just superstition.

Makes me wonder what Ostro's getting when he meditates prior to meeting the big Guy. How does he know it's not.a.demon in disquise at the door? I sense contradiction.

It's OK folks, the demons are not very good at being demons. Nothing to.worry about. Unless of course they have Ostro thinking exactly the way they want him to, child's play for a really good demon.
I think a bad demon would be capable of putting horns on a good demon and a halo around his own noggin. I mean what kind of self respecting demon would want to appear like a demon. They're demons for God's sake, I don't expect.the expected from them, why should anyone else?

Although there may be elements of both, the 2 words I detest most when discussing religion are brainwash and gullible (or derivatives of). I feel if anyone needs to use either in a philosophical/religious argument then it's a realization they have failed to make their point. It's a last gasp effort to save face.

I'm not GULLIBLE so don't call me that.
