These are both large projects, comprehensive encyclopedias that are being constantly updated. Authors include many prominent contemporary philosophers.
Which is better? It depends on the article, I guess. Sometimes articles on similar subjects take rather different approaches, so it can be enlightening to read what both encyclopedias have to say about the same thing.
Both encyclopedias have many articles on all aspects of the philosophy of science, as well as the philosophies of mathematics, logic, mind, language, the many philosophical problems associated with space, time, causality and quantum mechanics, and so on. No end of things that might fascinate people interested in science.
