When is it going to lighten up ?
sad face is sad

i thought i might muse in some light hearted updates Re dark matter.

Dark Matter....update ...cant find it yet...
thats because its Dark.

i sense from some articles that people have backed away from Dark matter theory over the last 6 months or soo maybe longer.
ive been pondering why that is...
maybe it is the fall-out from the higs bosun issue.

CERN & FERMI are getting way more attention now(in the last 5 years) which is super awesome.

Blasphemy apparently becomes a tad fashionable after awhile if the prey of orthodoxy remains elusive. More alternatives also gradually accumulate to keep graying MOND company and give DMDs (Dark Matter Deniers) something extra to nibble on.

A search for extraterrestrial life fires blanks, too, but it's not a proposed solution for anything. A desert of ten millennia could by for an unfulfilled ET quest, and yet the latter still wouldn't be vulnerable to the attrition of an undesignated time-limit and competing wild dogs barking on the horizon.

Never, because it doesn't exist.  Dark matter is the natural result of the space denier philosophy that dominates physics.  Instead of looking for missing matter to explain galaxy rotation curves, what if we look for a property of normal matter that has gone undiscovered instead?
