I accidentally logged out and couldn't log back in. Why can't I log in as Magical Realist anymore? So I had to create a whole new account with a new email account just to get back in. Goodbye Magical Realist. Hello Magickal Realist. Great. I guess I'm a fucking junior member now.
Perhaps a request to the site admin. would enable a look into the circumstances and possibly remedy the situation?

There have been several reports from folks who have had some malware get into their own computers and play with their passwords resulting in them no longer working in my own circle of acquaintances.
I'm having a look to see what's what, stay tuned. Btw the original MR account still exists, so there won't be any need to worry about member level.

What you can try before logging in is using the https://www.scivillage.com/nomnomnom.php script. It's a script that will clear any and all cookies associated with Scivillage.com (Sometimes a piece of cookie gets stuck in the browser and can cause problems).

If you are getting a cloudflare blocked message then it suggests something might be wrong with your browser potentially. I can't however see any message suggesting a threat has been identified by their filters.

Failing that I can reset your password to something and email your original sign-up email address with the new password. (It's not that I don't think you are who you say you are, I just want to be doubly sure or in the event you weren't who you say you are, the real you would likely get annoyed I let an imposter in.)

Once we've fixed this, the new accounts we'll disappear as if they never happened (along with hopefully whatever triggered the problem)

Update: I've reset your password, which I've emailed to your original email account. The email isn't spam related even if the domain seems to be, just use the first line of the body, not my simple -stryder sig.

Thanks stryder..I'll give it a try now.
I just logged in as your account and went through a captcha to do so, so it's possible the attempt limit has been reset now (that might be what was locking you out)

It works again. Thanks for all your help Stryder! Seasons Greetings to all, and to all a goodnight!
I noticed that you had disappeared for a few days MR, and feared that Santa Claws had slithered down your chimney and eaten you alive or you had suddenly spontaneously combusted in your lazyboy. Glad you are back.

"He sees you when you're sleeping, he knows when you're awake, he knows if you've been bad or good, so be good for goodness sake.
You'd better watch out, you'd better not cry, you'd better not pout, I'm telling you why... Santa Claws is coming to town!"

I haven't noticed any problems logging in. The cookies do it automatically and reliably with my chromebook every time I show up, but I occasionally log in manually when I'm using a different computer, which works fine.
