This is what i have been wondering about for the last week, what if any very deep movement has/is been going on.

fascinated by this, what appears tobe some type of swarm event in idaho
Tinyurl is of geology site location, click and it opens directly to the event map showing all the little quakes in the last 24 hour period.

tiny url of https://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes

additionally i notice a period of activity all around the pacific plate and out a bit further.
it appears to be in waves of activity looking at it in one perspective.
i have not checked to see if there is any planetary alignment to suggest greater effect from Electromagnetic field of the earth being effected in any way.
i realise some people put such an idea into the psudo science bucket however i do not write it off.
the earth magnetic field combined with the solar systems magnetic field ... i should imagine, would have "some" type of effect, least of which we see in tidal movement on a global scale, and all that water moving around changes pressure, though im not sure how much if any great amount.
possible on going swarm quake in idaho
looks quite unusual
134 quakes in 4 days in a small area.

swarm quake
if there are shallow large aftershocks say 7.2 they couold trigger devestating tsunamis for that coast line.

massive 8.3 in mexico
extensive damage luckly it was off shore by about 75 kilometers off the cost and relatively deep at around 65 to 69 kilometers

mexico quake 8.1 to 8.3 data from usgs govt
i have been expecting something like this for the last 2 weeks or soo.

looking at the pattern of movement and non movement there has been large scale movement on the east of the pacific plate, and on west side, some new deep movement around the islands and some movement on the rises.
i would expect to see some movement to the west ideally south of japan off the coast of taiwan and well away from population centres in around a few weeks. hopefully it dies down. though i would not be surprised to see something maybe between 5 to 7 between the sea of japan and philippines area on the othe side of the big push, maybe up to china or taiwan.
hopefully nothing larger than 5.0's would be ideal.. and a few of them in the next month finger crossed.
though there has been considerable medium movement through indonesia which is good because nothing big, around 4.5 which is ideal.
Recent activity above and at 5.5
what i am surprised by is the deep movement in vanuatu & indonesia, i wonder if this indicates continued pressure on the western boundary.
i was expecting to see reduced movement after the 8.1 & 7.1 in mexico.

Pacific rim still very active, great to see 4.5 fairly deep around the 50km mark in japan, hopelly that continues to relive pressure on that side of the plate.
continued deep movement around fiji and tong which has me wondering if there is anough release going on around indonesia.

after shocks around mexico continuing which is good they are all fairly small, lets hope it stays that way.

bit of a wobby in puerto rico yesterday which is not surprising considering the bigger activity around mexico a week or soo back.

more action on the rises pacific rise which i have my eye on.

i am still curious about taiwan and china with the massive amount of movement on the opposing side of the plate.
i have been wondering if pressure has been building up around the philopines.

interestingly Bahli mount aung and vanuautu have iminent erruptions which could close down air travel if the wind blows ash plooms south west.
hopefully if mt aung AND vanuatu go off they will have the ash travel very horizontally so it wont effect air traffic over the entire asian continent through to australia as that is a majour route for millions coming through from the USA over the pacific.
interesting ...
