continued deep eastern and central plate side of the pacific plate suggesting there will need to be corresponding movement on the west side in the next week or so

i bet albania felt these

the quick succession suggests to me they are not after shocks and after shocks may come
maybe they are lucky this was not a 6.5 or soo

very peculiar with no quakes around the western side of th epacific plate today.
2 groups of swarm quakes
one swarm quake in alaska and a small swarm in california

i have never sen no quakes on the pacific rim of fire in one day of anything smaller than around a 4.0
maybe it is a glitch on the USGS site or a time change where the last 6 or 12 hours has been erased by the system timer getting adjusted.

it does make me a little nervous though.
the longer it goes with no small regular 3.0 to 5.5 the potential of a much bigger pressure release happening the longer it goes on for.

we are in the midst of a solar minimum where there is massively increased solar wind hitting earth because the SUN has a much lower magnetic field.

how that plays on tectonic plate movement by effecting the earth magnetic field and electrical conductivity of the earth i dont know.
but my guess is it must do to some small part.

my biggest concern would be for the bottom of japan and the Philippines area where there is daily 4.0 to 5.5 going many times ... amybe 5 or soo every 12 to 24 hours.

if those faults lines go quiet for a few days. they might be in for it.

NOTE there are quiet patches of one or two days that is not uncommon. anything past a week and i would be avoiding those parts of the world.

seems fairly quiet nothing much comes to mind though maybe some action just above the left top of Papua New Guinea
around the area of the island of palau maybe
i suspect we are going into a low activity time

Magnitude 4.0 (weak to moderate) earthquake in... Cleveland Ohio? (Since when do they have earthquakes there?) It was even felt (weakly) up in SW Ontario.

i noticed that
probably was felt by a few hundred people.

regular deep action around the western edge of the plate

after reviewing movement i add a few that seem to draw a bigger picture of movement toward the western middle of the plate

these ones in ca are interesting
they are interesting because they follow the plate boundary heading upward and the second one is of a much larger magnitude
though, because the first one is below a 5.0 it is not so significant
The marinara trench quakes are a little more indicative of something a little larger in general deeper movement of the entire plate.

so i now am looking at the left side of the plate where there has been no movement for a while and wondering if that will get movement equal to the general rule of total movement of the plate based on overall general day to day week to week movement and how little there has been, and then how much of what type has followed in the last day.
i dont see anything that rings alarm bells for me though the marinara ones do get my attention a little
