This false-color infrared image of hurricane Matthew was put out onto Twitter by the Director of Weather Communications at the Weather Channel. They got it from the Earth Science Office at NASA. It's creating a sensation on the internet.

I hope that it isn't a portent of what hurricane Matthew has in store for Florida.

Nice example of Pareidolia.
Nice example of a hurricane shaped like a death skull.
Wow, I didn't even see it until I went and looked up other, zoomed in, pictures.

Nice term...I'd never heard of it.

Same here. I didn't see any skull, face, visage etc after at least 10 minutes of staring. Finally I concentrated on the eye and eventually saw the image. I think because I was looking for the conventional skull shape like that on a poison label, I missed it. Could also be that my brain is not wired to see images like the Virgin Mary embossed on a dog's ass. This is a Rorschach test. I failed, saw nothing but a weather pattern.
Yeah, maybe the expectation of a skull kept me from recognizing it was a profile view. As a Rorschach test, I'd say that instantly seeing a skull might be the more worrisome result.
