Trump is trying to piss stain all over Washington DC before he leaves to preserve his so-called legacy forever. It's the latest narcisstic gesture of self-love by an old insecure troll in a country that overwhelmingly showed last Tuesday that it is totally fed up with him.

But the action does not prevent future presidents from restyling the iconic office that Trump has filled to the brim with gold flourishes, nor does it prevent a successor from rolling back the proclamation itself. Trump himself has reversed national monument designations made by his predecessors."
