What is the impeachable offense?

Unauthorized? Trump stopped hostilities prior to needing legal approval from Congress. Hegseth didn't do anything other than that.
So... impeachable offense? None of that is a high crime or misdemeanor.

If anything, Trump stopping hostilities (because Congress would have stopped them anyway) helped contribute to the length of our engagement in Iran. Is Congress going to impeach themselves over that? 9_9

No he didn't. He didn't stop hostilities at all. If anything they are even more hostile. That's the effect of bombing a country just because they might one day attack Israel. Nobody wanted that shit. Not even the MAGA base.

Yes, he actually called a ceasefire and then only responded when civilian ships or our own Navy were attacked or to stop Iranian ships trying to violate the blockade. That has been the holding pattern to keep the Strait of Hormuz open.
