These are the first three installments of what is intended to be a full-length AI science fiction movie. The three parts below total 72 minutes, which is approaching a theater-length sci-fi film. It's amazing how quickly AI moviemaking is advancing, from short clips just a couple of years ago to complete films. (Hollywood is right to be scared to death.)

The guy who is making it, Motakuki, used to work at Disney on Star Wars. Cool robots.

Part 1 - 21 minutes long - Kind of sets the scene and establishes the (dark) mood. It kind of introduces a robot "immortality" theme that's dropped in parts 2 and 3, but that I think will return in later episodes. This one was released a month ago.



Part 2 - 26 minutes long - Features an entirely different protagonist in the same off-world setting. Introduces an extraterrestrial crime plot.



Part 3 - 25 minutes long - Introduces a third protagonist, but meshes closely with Part 2 and its characters and situations, advancing the crime plot. . It's hot off the presses, only released eight days ago.

I don't know how many more installments are planned, more than one I'm guessing since there are lots of plot threads that need tying together.

As long as it's receptive to detailed instructions and refinements from the human creator, I suppose it can even overcome the limitations and constant recycling of the images and audio that it was originally trained on. Especially if that accumulating new input is likewise retained in the resource memory to augment later productions.

What the actor/writer strikes a few years ago failed to take into account with their agreements to protect their jobs from AI is that these generative movies and shows would proceed outside of Hollywood control. Even without this added competition, California government has driven the entertainment industry away and into the ground with its insane fees and regulations.

Apparently due to long copyright negotiations and expenses, few if any seem to be adapting existing works or characters to this new medium that have not become public domain yet. That's aside from fan fiction (no profit, or however that is excused). The point there being that even when that does start happening extensively, this is one way of getting around Hollywood's relentless Woke conformity of identity-swapping established characters and shame-enforcing quotas or insisting that every population group in the world must have role representation in each flick or show. The generative AI creators have freedom to go either way until some organization or movement forms to clamp down on them, too, with aggressive positive discrimination.

Episode 4, just came out 15 hours ago, 27 minutes long (the total is now 99 minutes) - New protagonists again, one of them a familiar character from 2 and 3. By switching between protagonists, we seem to be learning all the characters' motivations and back stories. Still no resolution, just more plot lines. Pretty good world building (like a Mad-Max version of rural Nevada with exotic alien animals), even a tease of ancient alien artifacts from before the first humans' arrival. The off-world crime plot gets some unexpected twists.
