Indeed the whole physicalist scenario of everything happening objectively always assumes a view from nowhere---an observer which apparently in principle cannot be located inside the scenario itself and yet is instantiating it as objective by watching it all from some inconceivable outside. Like a dream our waking reality is entirely self-contained and self-referential. That's why science is so successful. But what is making this closed realm objective and physical is only ever its conceivability and observability to a phenomenally omnipresent, timeless, and scale-invariant consciousness. The metaphor of the dreamer always being outside their own dream looking in is a powerful one.
