Of course..let's send ice agents to airports because all those tired and grumpy people standing in long lines for hours need something else to piss them off even more.

"President Donald Trump sent Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents to airports around the country on Monday, March 23, as long security lines continue amid a partial government shutdown.

Transportation Security Administration worker absences reached their highest levels over the weekend since the shutdown began in mid-February, according to the Department of Homeland Security. Officers have been working without regular pay, and more than 400 have quit, the White House said in a March 22 post on X.

ICE agents were spotted at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and more. Here’s where they're being sent.

Which airports are ICE agents going to?

Agents are being sent to the following 13 airports, CNN reported:

Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD)
Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE)
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL)
Houston’s William P. Hobby Airport (HOU)
John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK)
New York’s LaGuardia Airport (LGA)
Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY)
Luis Muñoz Marin International Airport in Puerto Rico (SJU)
Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR)
Philadelphia International Airport (PHL)
Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX)
Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT)
Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW)

The outlet noted that ICE agents' functions could vary by airport and deployment plans could change. However, the New York Times reported that ICE and Homeland Security Investigations personnel would be sent to a total of 14 airports (the outlet named multiple airports and cities on the list published by CNN, but did not include a comprehensive list)."

If you're pissed off by the simple sight of ICE, you should seek help.
I support the deployment of ICE agents to airports as a temporary measure. They are certainly capable of doing the kind of security checks that TSA does, which should speed up the long lines at airports a lot. That's certainly a good thing.

My only real reservation is that ICE should be doing its customs and immigration enforcement job. The democrats absolutely hate immigration enforcement and try to impede it every way they can. So diverting ICE to do TSA's job just serves the democrats' evil agenda.
I'm betting only the extra agents they hired for surge operations are being diverted. But Trump has already said he wants to use Nation Guard as well. So maybe that will free up the ICE agents again.

Heroic ICE agent miraculously saves unresponsive child in TSA line

A heroic ICE agent rushed in and saved a 1-year-old boy who had become unresponsive while waiting in a TSA line at John F. Kennedy Airport.

The Department of Homeland Security released footage showing a child going limp in a man's arms before an ICE agent rushes to help. The agent was able to perform the Heimlich maneuver on the 1-year-old, ultimately restoring the child's breathing, according to a statement from the DHS.

"The panic of the child's family and nearby passengers were heard by an ICE agent stationed at a checkpoint. This heroic officer immediately sprang into action — rushing toward the cries, taking the child, and performing a Heimlich maneuver that restored the infant’s breathing after nearly two minutes."

Although ICE has been treated as a politically contentious group, countless reporters show travelers thanking agents for stepping up to the plate. Some videos even depict ICE officers handing out water bottles while travelers wait in unprecedented TSA lines.
