I'm really happy to see it. Unfortunately, I expect it to be a big nothing.
If they've really known about space aliens visiting the Earth since the 1930's, and if they have alien artifacts including crashed alien vehicles hidden in a secret base somewhere,
do we really expect them to tell us? They will release some poor video and some blurry photos and say that's all they have. (I remain very skeptical about these crashed saucer claims. But imagine what it would mean if it was true!!)
And if bad video and grainy photos of dots of light really is all they have, will any of us believe that's it? (I'd probably be skeptical about that as well.)
What I want to see first are official reports on the tic-tacs that Fravor and his people saw off San Diego and the things that Ryan Graves and his people saw off Norfolk. We know that the military and the spooks have lots of video from many other reports that's currently classified top secret, and I want to see that too, along with the sighting reports that accompanied it.
If I had to state my current position on these things, I'd say that there does seem to be evidence that's very hard to dismiss (though Mick West would certainly try) and the military and the spooks seemingly have no idea what it is. But I doubt very much whether they have recovered alien spaceships or possess alien bodies on ice. The chances of that seem to me to be exceedingly small. But it demands followup simply because of the implications are so huge if by chance it was true.

Speed and instantaneous change of direction and no source of propulsion. There is simply no terrestrial explanation for such a phenomenon.
I think that I would prefer to say 'exceeds the current aerospace engineering state of the art' instead of 'defying the laws of physics'. Though the instantaneous acceleration that's been observed does come close to the latter.
And this presupposes that these are material objects behaving in these ways, which we don't know for sure.

Yes, as you know, I don't want to totally dismiss the time travel hypothesis.
1. It explains why the UFOs are elusive. If they are time travelers, they might not want to alter their own past with all the paradoxical implications. Conforming to the UFO phenomenon in our time is safe because they already know that they are the ones that caused it.
2. It explains why, assuming witness reports of the supposed occupants are correct, why they are anatomically so similar to us. Being our descendants would explain that.
3. It neatly answers the question: 'If time travel is possible, where are all the time travelers?'
If we don't know what something is, we can certainly speculate and hypothesize, with full realization that we are just guessing and don't really know.
I guess that the philosophical point is that we shouldn't close the door on it being something that we are totally unfamiliar with. And that leaves open an effectively unbounded possibility space.
