And the fact that it was quickly removed after backlash from Republican senators shows it was acknowledged as being racist. Everybody in America knows this "blacks are monkeys" trope. It's what got Rosanne culture cancelled. Study up on the ugly history of racist cartoons and depictions. There's no excuse for ignorance about this in the 21st century.
