Could the incandescent light bulb make a comeback?

I have noticed a dislike of the various new "green" bulbs among [obstinate] "red" traditionalists, so the latter should even welcome a growing return of a rehabilitated version of their old friends. ["Red" is the opposite of "green" on the color wheel.]
