Booyah! Finally was able to subscribe to Netflix. They no longer require a mobile phn number. This series is really good. I will also be looking into Black Mirror. My nephew suggests OA and The 100 and my sister says they're on the sixth season of The Vikings. Any other suggestions?

Stranger Things, of course, but it's another one that's so old that it's surely been rented to or exhibited (at least temporarily) on other streaming services. To be frank, I started avoiding Netflix shows because they cancel so many of them on cliffhangers. Speaking of which, make sure you're drunk when you watch the last episode of The Oa, because the agony or frustration will be intense. Love Death + Robots appears to be safe watching, since it's an anthology of self-contained episodes.

Ozark
Ripley (miniseries)
Godless (miniseries)
Travelers (old, 2016 to 2018)
Thanks for the recs! I need to see "Don't Look Up" too. It sounds hilarious.

There's the The Witcher, too, but... It arguably drooped some later on, and there's the cloudy future of a different actor taking over Henry Cavill's role. The Witcher is also another of those shows (like Stranger Things) that seems to take forever for a new season to come out. Over three years since the last, and counting... I'd have to watch the whole thing again just to remember what happened or have a clue as to what's going on at the opening of Season Four. But it won't be cancelled, it will get to conclude on the 5th season (done deal).
The OA was everything I expected: original and explorative and suspenseful with a surprising level of heart. Fuck Netflix for cancelling it.
A couple of others from their library:
The Umbrella Academy
Lost In Space (Feel free to debate the recent version vs The original)

There are a bunch of other shows I'd mention, but alas they aren't on their library.
UA looks good! Tks for the recommendation Stryder!
