Tens of thousands of eyewitness reports by scientists, military personnel, astronomers, government officials, airline pilots, and people of every nation and ethnicity over the past 80 years as well as excellent photos and videos and FLIR and radar recordings do indeed count as a substantial amount of evidence. Unless of course one has a sterling online reputation to maintain as a peer-respected sciency writer who can't be bothered by the contemporary developments currently taking place in our world. Then it's just business as usual I guess..like scrutinizing the atmospheric composition of the most recently discovered goldilocks planet. Copernican moment indeed. Thank God for rational optimists.
