Telepathy would probably kill the iPhone business.

If we were all telepathic then I figure evolution might fit us with some kind of antenna(receiver) and tuner if we each broadcast at different frequencies, be like My Favorite Martian. Now if we were all on a common wavelength then how could anyone be dishonest? We might have to get used to peace, or god forbid….the truth.
What I quoted was the summation of a quote that bent over backwards to help his friend. Even in your bit, he says psychologists should check his results. IOW, they should find a rational, scientific explanation.

The results of proper research should be studied. But "researching telepathy" is blatant confirmation bias, not actual science. Einstein didn't say telepathy should be studied. His wording was pretty careful... if you could read at more than a third grade level.

He said "the result of the telepathic experiments...[are] far beyond... [the] thinkable." He then says, if it's "not... telepathy, but... some unconscious hypnotic influence,"...that "would be of high psychological interest." IOW, only if it is within the realm of an actual study of science would it be worthy of research.

But you go right on believing that Einstein affirms your belief in telepathy. Tells us all we need to know about your comprehension of science and proper research methodology.
Quote:But you go right on believing that Einstein affirms your belief in telepathy.

Einstein publicly affirms my belief that telepathy should be openly studied by science just as I said in the OP. Only a backwards dolt afraid their comfortable worldview might collapse would think otherwise. There is simply no reason not to study such a widely-reported and paradigm-shifting phenomenon.
Again, see your third grade reading level.

I predict by 2050 the world will be divided between AI cyborgs and psychonauts. People with chip-enhanced brains and people with natural psychic abilities like pk and telepathy. The great Mind Wars will then commence between them, plummeting our world into a chaotic James Cameron nightmare. Thankfully I will have been spirited away to the afterlife by then, watching the whole thing from my remote astral shanty laughing it up with Philip K Dick and William Burroughs..
I figured if telepathy was real then there would be some sort of signal between a minimum of two minds. So I asked Google AI if body language could be considered telepathy. Not sure if AI really knows after the first line of its answer. Here’s what it said:

Quote: No, body language is not telepathy, which is the ability to communicate thoughts directly from one mind to another. However, body language can be a useful tool for understanding people and their feelings:
Body language is a form of nonverbal communication
Body language includes facial expressions, gestures, posture, and eye contact. It can convey information about a person's feelings, attitudes, and intentions.
Body language can be conscious or subconscious
Body language can be used to strengthen verbal messages or cause confusion.
Body language can be a telling aspect of how someone is feeling
Body language can often reveal more than words alone. For example, breath speeds up when someone is excited and slows down when they are relaxed.
Body language can influence perceptions
Studies show that nonverbal communication can account for up to 55% of how we convey information. It can influence perceptions of confidence, reliability, and engagement.

Is telepathy between folks on par with a couple of ants touching antennas to communicate? Insects do a lot of communicating with chemicals, different than telepathy?

I suppose Google AI is saying there’s no medium required for a telepathic thought to travel through to get into someone else’s brain. I wonder how a telepathy test would work for a blind person? I can also get a good idea of what someone is like just by looking at the way they dress, the car they drive, their home, etc. Not always right of course but neither are telepathy test subjects.

Not always right or not always accurate? AI→ Judging people by what they own means making assumptions about someone's character, worth, or social status based solely on the material possessions they have, like their car, house, clothes, or other belongings, which is considered a shallow and often inaccurate way to evaluate someone as it doesn't take into account their personality, values, or life experiences.
The older I get, the more I find you can very often judge a book by its cover. How people present themselves and care for their belongings, regardless of how inexpensive, can give insight into their mental health, reliability, etc..

Right or accurate….take your pick. A good portion of my working life involved going into people’s homes, not sure if you or AI have had similar experience. I’ve seen everything from kids in cages to women being physically battered, all while I’m in their homes. That and much more. It’s almost imperative that you make the right assessment of who or what you’re dealing with, just in case you get inadvertently involved. A view from the street of everything from condition of house, yard, cars, neighborhood, people awaiting you, whatever catches your eye as you try and gather information on what could be in store. When was the last time you or AI walked into a crack house? Call it profiling if you want and I’m not a cop. That and more but I didn’t do it for fun, it was for my own safety. All of this before I even opened my mouth to speak to anyone.

But if you want to stick to telepathic messages then I would say I don’t think so. Did I get messages….you bet. Keep your eyes open, remain calm, stay focused, assume the worst.
