Full Version: Labour voters would rather back Reform UK than the Conservatives, survey has found

INTRO: A poll of more than 1,000 Labour voters revealed that many would have picked Nigel Farage's party [Reform UK] ahead of the Tories at the general election.

The Liberal Democrats were the most popular second-choice party, with 36 percent selecting them. They were followed by the Greens, on 22 percent, and Reform, on 14 percent.

Just 6 percent of respondents said they would have voted for the Conservatives as their second choice in July.

Labour won a landslide 167-seat majority and the Lib Dems also made big gains, winning 61 seats, while Reform picked up five.

The survey, carried out in August by Arden Strategies, quizzed a nationally representative sample of 1,004 Labour voters.

Its findings would appear to support claims by Mr Farage that Reform is a more credible party of opposition than the Tories, who lost 244 MPs... (MORE - details)
