The reason for AI to be prone to hallucination is a mixture of Timing and Topology. In the case of neural networking and parallel processing, for information to be processed together there is a delay between the some of the precursor elements that make up the overall output. This causes deviations requiring addressing, or as we've seen them "Hallucinations".
Further to timing is then the topology. The neural nets used as on Scalable platforms that can be grown or shrunk to match the demand of whats being processed. When it comes to a human observer seeing the world without hallucinating, they are doing so with a finite neuralogical topology and observational perspective.
Human hallucinations tend to occur when their is issue with information being delivered in a timely fashion from being stressed, suffering from chemistry changes or or various effects that cause problems to the neural structure.
