Finally saw "Birdman" last night and was thoroughly enthralled by it. The script is crackling and smart. The cinematography is revolutionary. The acting, especially Michael Keaton, is glorious. And the storyline is many-layered and heartfelt, mixing in several amusing elements of magical realism. It is just my kind of movie, and a well-deserving winner of the 2014 Best Picture Oscar.
