VIDEO INTRO: A group of physicists wants to use artificial intelligence to prove that reality doesn’t exist. They want to do this by running an artificial general intelligence as an observer on a quantum computer. I wish this was a joke. But I’m afraid it’s not.

AI could prove that reality doesn’t exist, physicists say
The physicists are using AI to prove AI doesn’t exist? And if it doesn’t then the physicist using AI don’t exist either. So if AI proves neither it nor physicists exist then the proof doesn’t exist also. I could go on and on but this reminds me once again of the old TV series The Prisoner, who typed the question ‘Why?’ for a computer that could solve everything……except it blew up trying to answer.

How does something that doesn't exist prove that it doesn't?
