I'm surprised that "Mad Men" ranked one higher than "Breaking Bad".

And that "The Leftovers" ranked in the top ten. Not because it doesn't deserve to be there, but like "The OA", you often wondered if anybody ever watched it but you.

Which is the truly astonishing thing, that "The OA" made it in the 100 even after the idiots at Netflix cancelled it on a clliffhanger.

A little surprised that "Deadwood" slotted as high as it did, and even "Six Feet Under" after all these years.

And "Downton Abbey" all the way down at 36? (Good gosh, "Fargo" is one above it.)

And the "Watchmen" at 26! (I still think the original graphic novel tops this "sequel", but they'll never make a good TV or movie version from the latter, so...)

And despite all the wailing, moaning, and catcalls in the 13 years since about the ending or its final season, "Lost" is still hanging at a spot like #19, just as similarly finale-reviled "Game of Thrones" is at #5. Heh.
The amount of pure crap on that list is a real indictment of 21 century TV. That, or maybe more of an indictment of the "film critics, experts and industry figures" they polled...speaking of good shows being cancelled.
I couldn't even find Buffy The Vampire Slayer on the list. Tongue

And "The Sopranos" and "Oz" aren't on there either, which I guess indicates a series has to actually debut in the 2000s to qualify, rather than extend into the new century.

But since "Firefly" (2002) is missing also, apparently it would have been an all-around snubbing of Joss Whedon even if BTVS hadn't begun in 1997.
Yeah...no mention of The Twilight Zone or Star Trek either. Seems they only included recent series.

I still count the moments I spent binging GOT as among the best TV watching in my life. Wouldn't watch it any other way. Something about submerging yourself into the world of Westeros on a gloomy November's day.
