Hey MR!

You've heard of science-fiction generation starships, well this is 2 1/2 light years across! (Something that only one of the Elder Races of the cosmos could construct.)

It's 7,100 light years away, so unless it has FTL drive, it isn't likely to arrive in our skies soon.

Beautiful shot from an amateur using an 8”. I had a 6” scope at one time but lacked the patience to wait and focus on some parts of the sky. Having a perfect location to observe was a big problem and I just lost interest.

A section of a universe so hot and violent that I sometimes think life is unwilling to exist there.. Instead it looks about for a habitable place to settle down in.
