I'll get around to watching it one of these days. I remember growing up on a glut of victimization cinema focused on the tribulations of the same recurring handful of population groups. And didn't realize until recent years how much I'd like to see that diversified to a larger pool of underreported ethnic and ideological communities.
For instance, I'd never even heard of the Indonesian genocide until the tail-end of 2014, when I first saw The Act of Killing on PBS. Some of the original vigilantes and gangsters themselves creatively contributed to it, though director Joshua Oppenheimer still managed the production.

I watched the film. The only thing I can think of is that I watched it out of respect for CC and I have (even) greater respect now than I did before.
