Towards the end, Luis Elizondo gravely hints at 'serious efforts' are 'underway' to 'reverse engineer' the 'alien artifacts' towards 'game-changer' 'breakthrough tech'. Ha ha ha ha.
Good luck Luis. Heard all that before. Like microchips & optical fiber 'somehow' were 'reverse engineered' from Roswell 1947 'crashed saucer wreckage'. Except - the actual real history of how microchips & optical fiber came about is well documented and had zero to do with 'reverse engineered' 'alien tech'.
A prolific poster here has p296 #5917 over at another forum (where I got life banned for speaking unpopular truths), amidst the higher-education-babble-waffle, obliquely referred to my position as
"...one individual may regard a UFO incident as a space visitor, another as a demon,..."
Shorn of any particular religious garb, or specific word label, that choice is, once the total sweep of accumulated evidence is taken on board, easily the most coherent, consistent fingerprinting. Nothing else really fits together. Believe it or not.
No self-styled skeptic at the other site attempted to objectively poke holes in veracity of the 1978 Enfield Poltergeist case, linked to below:

Combine such with e.g. The Strange Case of Doctor X:

Once the UFO/Supernatural connection is researched, recognized and accepted, oddly shaped but otherwise mundane composition metallic alloy 'sky-fall' artifacts, becomes very unlikely as 'hard evidence' of physical space alien visitations and associated 'craft malfunctions'. Metallic bowel evacuations, conveniently in sight of startled onlookers, after trouble-free crossings of umpteen light-years? Ha ha ha ha. 'They' have a sense of humor it seems.

For causal observers idly discouraged by the intervening clutter, the applicable item is further down on that page.
EXCERPTS: The object in question is made of accreted grinding residue. It forms in a manner similar to a common stalagmite when metal castings are “cleaned” on large stationary grinders.
[...] A foundry standgrinder (click image to enlarge). {A} is the grinding wheel composed of abrasive and adhesive. {b} is where the casting rests. The stalagmites form inside the grinding wheel guard {C} just behind the two large bolt heads.
[...] Not many large stalagmites exist as souvenirs anymore because the metal is now so valuable that it is collected and sold for scrap. There is also a concerted effort to keep the grinding guards clean and remove the stalagmites before they grow so large that they break off and destroy the grinder by becoming jammed between the guard and wheel. It is possible that Bob White’s artifact was not identified sooner because few old foundries remain which use the antiquated grinding equipment that produces them. Foundry work in the U.S. has been steadily outsourced to developing nations such as Mexico, China, and India...

Maybe someone can do a spot of Bob White objectively neutral investigative journalism. Guess that rules out all the highly polarized personally invested in their pet position posters here to date. This is so exciting!
'aluminum-silicon alloy' 'pine cones' via regular grinding wheel grinding. Same deal with attempting to grind copper btw.
Also, the lore surrounding lab examinations of Bob White 'UFO discards' mentions nothing about highly porous/oxidized/friable microstructure - which is what one must expect if it's all just a silly hoax involving grinding residue in general. But who really knows?

Both positions contain within, and reference to, glaring errors and contradictions, but imo it's just not worth detailing such. Best to leave as is and just move on.
