My favorite beef stroganoff recipe
This is really good when it's cold outside. The flavor is addictive and once you make it it will become a regular staple of your culinary adventure.
Ingredients:

1 large sweet yellow onion
A bunch of button mushrooms (1/4 of a bag)
1 pound of round steak
1 pound of chicken fillets
1 small bottle of worstershire sauce
1 bottle of cooking sherry
1 medium size container of sour cream

Chop up the meat and brown in a medium pot
Chop up onions and layer them over the meat, then the mushrooms.
Pour in worstershire sauce and sherry.
Let cook down on medium heat for 1 hour 15 minutes. (till steak is tender)
Mix in sour cream
Serve over noodles or rice.
Hmm, I haven’t thought of adding chicken, I’ve only had this dish with beef. Sounds delicious!
It's such a treat to have both beef and chicken to eat together. It's such a luxury that I don't know why we didn't think it up sooner. The sherry and worstershire and sour cream come together in a tart creamy sauce that balances nicely with the meat and onions.
