It could have a mediator that is vulnerable to and operates in space/time and anonymously intervenes by converting its intent to the workings of the natural order (or alternatively does that in a pre-established manner). But it would seem to be a kind of avatar rather than the absolute deity. However, Christianity with that "family of God" or Trinity thing going on -- is probably amenable to that from the outset.
